Farm to Preschool Books at the Durango Public Library – available as PDF or searchable Excel spreadsheet.
Growing Minds
A wealth of Farm to School and Preschool information, including free lesson plans and a searchable list of children’s books related to food and agriculture.
Harvest of the Month — Colorado
Recipes and educational resources for in-season foods. Google for your state if outside Colorado.
Early Sprouts
Self-paced online training and/or book provides early childhood educators with teaching methods and tools to implement the Early Sprouts approach, including the discovery of and appreciation for healthy foods, as well as strategies for meaningful parent involvement.
Grow It, Try It, Like It! (USDA)
A garden-themed nutrition education kit for child care center staff that introduces children to fruits and vegetables. Free download.
