As a Colorado Supporting Partner with LiveWell Colorado for the National Farm to School Network on K-12 and Preschool projects, HCFS is involved with local Farm to School and Farm to Preschool efforts in Southwest Colorado..
HCFS was instrumental in helping Farm to School develop in the La Plata County area over the past 11 years and continues to help it grow. We are now extending the benefits of healthy food, as local as possible, and gardens and edible education, along with lessons learned here in K-12, to the youngest children in our Southwest Colorado Farm to Preschool project.
